My husband has been experiencing dry spots, mostly around his neck and some on his lower arms. They’re usually circular and don't itch much, but they appear after shaving or taking a hot shower. He hasn't tried any moisturizing creams yet, and we're trying to figure out what could be causing it. To help, we've started using warm water instead of hot when he showers.

He keeps himself very clean and showers often, but he doesn't sweat, even when it’s hot, which seems strange. He wears t-shirts or sweatshirts without collars most of the time, only wearing a collared shirt when he has to go to work, which isn’t often. I even had a water filter installed, thinking the dry skin might be from the water quality.

This issue started about a year ago he never had it before. He’s also very diligent about washing his clothes and bed sheets regularly. He uses the same detergent (Tide), shampoo (Head & Shoulders), and soap (Dove) as he always has. We're still trying to get to the bottom of this.
